Achieve consistent spoke nipple tightening with the Excel TWS-210 Spoke Torque Wrench Kit, designed for motorcycle wheel building, servicing and maintenance.
This practical workshop kit includes an adjustable spoke torque wrench for controlled final tightening and a separate non-torque spoke wrench handle for general wheel-building adjustments. Together, they provide the tools needed to adjust spoke nipples during wheel assembly and apply the specified torque during final tensioning.
The TWS-210 features an adjustable torque range of 2–7 Nm (18–62 lb-in), with dual measurement scales in Newton metres and inch-pounds. Its torque-release mechanism provides a distinct release when the preset torque is reached, helping achieve consistent tightening when used correctly.
Supplied with six interchangeable spoke wrench heads and a protective storage case, this kit is suitable for motorcycle wheel builders, mechanics and workshop professionals.
Adjustable spoke torque wrench
Torque range of 2–7 Nm (18–62 lb-in) for controlled spoke nipple tightening.
Separate non-torque spoke wrench handle
The Excel TWW-001 handle is designed for general spoke nipple adjustment, initial tightening and wheel-building work where torque measurement is not required.
Dual torque scales
Readings in Newton metres (Nm) and inch-pounds (lb-in) make it easy to work with the torque specifications provided by different manufacturers.
Interchangeable spoke wrench heads
Six supplied heads provide a choice of sizes and profiles for compatible spoke nipples.
Torque-release mechanism
The wrench head moves sideways with a distinct release when the preset torque is reached, indicating that the selected setting has been achieved.
Factory calibration
The manufacturer's stated accuracy is ±2% under normal operating conditions. Follow the manufacturer's guidance for calibration and maintenance.
Protective storage case
Keeps the tools and interchangeable heads together and protected between workshop jobs.

The dimensions above are listed as supplied in the kit specification. Check compatibility with your spoke nipples before use.
1. Initial spoke adjustment
Use the separate non-torque spoke wrench handle for general nipple adjustment during wheel building and spoke replacement.
2. Final torque setting
Select the appropriate interchangeable head, set the required torque on the TWS-210 and tighten the spoke nipple using the correct wheel-building sequence.
3. Check the finished wheel
Follow the wheel manufacturer's instructions for spoke tension, tightening sequence and wheel truing. Torque alone does not guarantee correct spoke tension or a correctly trued wheel.
Always follow the motorcycle or wheel manufacturer's specified spoke torque settings.
Confirm that the selected wrench head fits the spoke nipple correctly before applying force.
Tighten spokes progressively and in the correct sequence, checking wheel alignment throughout the process.
Stop tightening when the torque-release mechanism operates. Continuing to turn the nipple may cause excessive tightening or damage.
Reset the torque setting to the manufacturer's recommended storage position after use.
Do not adjust the calibration screw. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for inspection and recalibration.
The Excel TWS-210 provides a practical combination of torque-controlled tightening and general spoke adjustment tools, helping motorcycle wheel builders and workshop professionals work consistently during wheel assembly and maintenance.
